China Airlines has introduced a new daily flight service linking Taichung with Okinawa, a move that enhances its Japanese flight network and elevates the total number of round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170 each week. This new route is operated using an Airbus A321neo aircraft. Flight CI310 takes off from Taichung at 10:00 a.m., reaching Okinawa by 12:40 p.m., while the return flight, CI311, departs Okinawa at 1:40 p.m., arriving in Taichung at 2:10 p.m.
The airline has announced plans to expand the service further by adding a second daily flight starting August 13. This additional service, Flight CI312, will leave Taichung at 3:20 p.m. and land in Okinawa at 6:00 p.m. The return journey, Flight CI313, is scheduled to depart Okinawa at 7:00 p.m., touching down in Taichung by 7:30 p.m.
With the launch of these new flights, alongside existing routes from Taipei and Kaohsiung, China Airlines will offer approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa each week. This expansion significantly boosts connectivity between Taiwan and Japan, providing greater travel options for both business and leisure passengers.
The enhanced flight schedule underscores China Airlines’ commitment to strengthening ties between the two regions. By increasing the frequency and availability of flights, the airline is catering to a growing demand and facilitating smoother travel experiences for passengers traveling between Taiwan and Japan.
