So, when you’re working to control your cholesterol, look beyond just the fat content of your food. Pay close attention to the quality of your carbohydrates. Swapping out refined carbs for their whole, unprocessed counterparts is one of the most effective dietary changes you can make to protect your arteries and your heart.
